We are attempting something new. We are going to relaunch our podcast with a review of the new Star Wars cartoon series “The Bad Batch”. We will attempt to be relevant and timely, new ground for us for sure. If our new format works out, we will release the Ewok cartoon episodes as well. We hope you enjoy.

Hello, guess what? We reviewed the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special. We brought the same critical eye to this special that we did to the original Holiday Special we reviewed in Episode 1 of this podcast.

Hello Yubcaster. We are launching something slightly different today. Welcome to Episode 1 of our weekly news show where I go through a quick review of the Star Wars news and rumors from the past week. This is intended to be a short, unedited review of a few news items, upcoming releases, and some fun Star Wars rumors. The format is pretty loose but this is just my initial reactions and raw feelings toward current Star Wars. This podcast is in addition to Yubcast not a replacement.

Paul was an accomplished comedian from the Canadian comedy troupe “The Frantics” and now runs a web design company and continues his love of comedy and technology on his YouTube station, Peter Paul Chato.

Today we discussed the trailer for the new “Clone Wars” episodes announced at San Diego Comicon. We discuss Son of Dathomir, Dark Disciple, Crystal Crisis, Bad Batch, Vong, Wookiees, Top Gun, Trouble Again, R2’s whore, Ahsoka’s walkabout, Sith shrines under the temple, Palpatine’s motivation for staging all of episode 3 and how this is the most exciting news since episode 7 was announced.

Today’s episode of the podcast Jamey and Matt discuss what spin-off movies they would like to see and also review episode 10 of “Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO” entitled “Tail of the Roon Comets.” This is the first episode in the final arc of “Droids” where C-3PO, R2-D2, and Mungo Baobab travel to the Roon system and get trapped by a central American dictator.
The great part about starting a new arc is all the new characters and designs we get to see. Below are some pencil sketches of some of the new characters we meet today including the insect Gaff and Krox, the two headed alien who sells Mungo the map.

We also discuss our thoughts on the internet backlash against “The Last Jedi”.
